Hi, and welcome!

It sounds like she has only tried 3 meds, and possibly only at one dose each?

There is not one med for every child, and they ALL work, just not for every kid. There are MANY more meds than those 3, and they all come in different dosages. It can take a while, even years to find the right med/dose that works for your child. it took us 3 years of trial and error to find the right one, and we are sticking with it so far. There are also meds that are not stimulants, and can be used in addition to another med.

Adderall, Focalin, and Vyvanse are all good meds, and what you are describing sounds like rebound , especially with the Adderall.

Who diagnosed her? Was it a neuropsychologist, a Psychiatrist or a pediatrician? I would suggest speaking to her Prescribing Psychiatrist and discussing other med options. If she is only seeing a ped I would find a Psych to re-evaluate her, and find a med that works. If she did not have a complete eval then you may be dealing with more than ADHD, something entirely different, or adhd and a comorbid disorder.

A child may HAVE ADHD, but it is not what they ARE. Never tell a child they ARE ADHD.
