I was just reading an article about parents taking kids off of their meds for the summer and sending them to camp without them.

We don't do med breaks (though I'm toying with the idea of backing the dose back down, don't know, though...). For my kid, the social skills deficits are big enough that THIS is what I feel summer day camps are for (and the fact that we both work!)--and he simply won't get anywhere without the meds. Entirely skipping over the fact that his counselors would probably become homicidal or something ;}.
Completely "get" where the camp is coming from.
