For those with kids on Metadate ER what dosage are they on? I'm curious..as we are only on 10mg..and wondering if we need to change to 20.

Hi my name is Heather. My 6 yr old son is on Metadate CD 20 mg. This is his second

day of being on this medicine. I can honestly say right now that 20 mg is not helping

him. His pediatrician prescribed him to start out with 20 mg, but can be increased if

it needs to be. I hope this helps.

We're doing the Metadate CD not ER, but we too started at the new 10mg and after 3 days I upped it to 20 and things are going good here! Good luck!

Well i talked to the dr- she wants to try the ER at 20mgs first and if not, then the CD. what is the difference? I need to look that up. My son's behavior in school is excellent. But on 10mg of the ER, he isn't as focused as he should be..distracted etc. I hate upping the dose..but we have to, the teacher loves him, but notices his having a harder time especially by afternoon- with focus.
