The roller coaster ride continues. At this very moment, things are good. Three weeks ago, my oldest got himself arrested for running through the woods looking and acting like GI Joe with a bb gun. Someone saw him and understandably got concerned and called the police. He was arrested for disorderly conduct and fined $500.00. Great for someone that lives on $900 a month and pays rent and groceries out of that. We are hoping to get him out of the program where he is living now as the obviously do little to nothing for him and have only made things worse for him. He is awaiting a Section 8 voucher and as soon as that comes through, we hope to move him into his own aparment closer to us. I am a little leery about it. The 17 year old is doing ok but still refusing any kind of treatment and going through his cycles. He will be 18 in a few months and has been told that if he is not under some type of treatment by then, he will find himself on the street as we no longer legally have to put up with his abuse. So..... as I said, the roller coaster continues.

Geez girl. You have the sh!$ ball doen't ya? Nothing could be done for the oldest with that fine? Like who was supposed to watch him, or since he is mentally ill & unable to control some of this? Sorry to hear about the otehr one. Can't believe he is still refusing help. How is your baby girl doing? I know she is the light in your heart!

Well, he was in control of himself and he knew better BUT... if the idiots running the program where he is living were doing anything more than warehousing people, he would have not been so bored out of his mind sitting around basket weaving for days on end, then he probably wouldnt have gotten in trouble. They routinely throw them out of their own apartments that they pay $370. a piece to live in monthly (there are four to a two bedroom apartment). They claim it is because they have no staff there. It is supposed to be 24 hour supervision. Anyhow, they leave him on the streets where he has now twice gotten in trouble. One day for being in an abandoned barn because he had no where else to be. Had I known they were still doing this, I would have come and got him but he lied to me about it so I wouldnt make a fuss. They also passed an anti-loitering ordinance in that town and are routinely harrassing people (mostly teens and young adults). So... when he is finally out of there, I will be going to the media about it. My little angel is growing up and it is totally freaking me out. She is 11 and already going through puberty. Aunt flow has already been here and she has and needs a bra. She is doing very well otherwise but had us worried but what turned out to be just good old PMS. How is your little guy doing?

Oh Good ole PMS, a monster I am glad I don't have to deal with!!!!

Joiner is doing much better now that he has a new teacher. He is doing his homework, playing with kids, and sleeping thru the night. He gets a bit mouthy, but that's just part of it, so we deal. A friend of mine gave him a Nitendo 64 and I am taking full advantage of it. It's the first thing I take away when he gets mouthy, ROFL.
