Does anyone one have any advice for me to give my 6.5 ds about teasing. He just cannot seem to be able to ignore the teaser. Then he is the one who loses tokens, since he lets it escalate. He is adhd on meds and doing well in school, and getting better socially, but he just cannot turn the other way when someone teases him. For example the boy next to him said "You smell". He then said very loudly "It smells in here"! after the boy told him he smells several times. He does not smell, it was just teasing. He also believes anything anyone tells him no matter how far fetched it seems. Then he gets totally upset when he realizes it is not true. He is in the first gradr and the youngest in his class, so I kmow this is part of it. What do you all think would be some good advice for him?

thanks!!

My son does the same. But, Joiner will start fighting with whom ever is doing the teasing. I have him in a socialization/anger management class for 6-9 year old boys. This class is given by his neuropsychologist.
