Hi!  I am a Mom to 4 and my youngest DS is 7 and has ADHD.  Our biggest issue right now is bedtime.  He will be doing okay till you say "Cameron go brush your teeth"  his behavior nose dives.  We give warnings (10 more minutes to bed) we try routines, I even got him books on CD to listen to in bed to help him wind down but every "new trick" works for a few days to a week then we are back to having problems.  Any advice?  I keep being reminded of the old Bill Cosby routine where the children say to the Dad "But father, we can't go to bed with out a beating..."  Any help would be great!  Thanks.

Hi Irnav1! I'm not sure I'm going to have any good suggestions so just going to throw out some ideas. You could either do an award program or some type of penalty one. Such as he gets a star for every night he's in bed at a certain time, which he can save up for a special treat, or conversely, he loses 5 minutes or so of bedtime if he doesn't listen? You could even use as an award that after 5 or 6 nights of stars he gets to stay up 30 minutes later or something like that. What time does he normally go to bed and wake up?
