Bonnie: First off (((Hugs)))!!! It is so hard to deal with when they are so you and everyone is telling you different things. First thing to never forget is that you are mommy and you know best and know him best!!
Another couple of things I would add to what others have said. Maybe he would benefit from some controlled sensory stimuli as related to sensory integration dysfunction. Does he have any issue w/ how clothes fit, foods feel, ect? A good Occupational therapist can help eval that situation. I would strongly suggest looking in this area!
Also, has he had a thorough eye exam by and pediatric behavioral optometrist? Not a reg ol eye dr. that you find at some Eye care chain. There are many
