Question for LittlemommyJenn?

Your post brings to mind the same discussion we had with our doctor. We told him we were concerned about our 7 year old daughters behavior when she came down off the Ritilan she was on. We too thought her behavior was WAY worse then it had ever been in the first place. He said we were probally just getting used to her good behavior and it seemed like she was more out of control but really wasn't. We didn't like that answer so we had him change our presc. He gave us Focalin, which is had to find because the pharmacy dosen't generally stock it and I don't know of anyone else who takes it. But it has worked well and her behavior has gotten some better when she is off her meds, but this summer we are going to try the new Stratta meds that are not a controlled substance. Let me know how the Concerta works for your daughter. We now take a 10mg Focalin in the am and another 5mg after school to get through homework.
