Hi and welcome!

The only diet I know of that actually works is the Feingold diet,

A child may HAVE ADHD, but it is not what they ARE. Never tell a child they ARE ADHD.

Then why does the school suggest one.?? what is the resoning behind doing it?

Hi,

I have no idea really. They can do educational testing, but a Connors is out of that scope.

Hi,

I have 4 boys, 2 are" neurotypical" my other two are.....ADHD and PDD (ASD). I have all 4 on the Feingold diet. It is overwhelming at first but works and is worth it!

Our school does the Connors, too, and uses it to suggest that you talk to your Dr.--obviously the school isn't a medical professional so can't give you a proper diagnosis, but they can run a simple screen (that's what Connors is) to see if you should go get a more detailed analysis.
