SPECT Imaging?

Anyone have a SPECT Imaging done on their child? My sons therapist told me about it and there is a clinic about 3 hours away. It's a brain scan that would show brain behavior. I'm very much considering this for my son, his anxiety is so bad, his ADHD is interferring with his schoolwork . . . Would love to have someone say, do this, or try this because that is what we see on the brain scan. Maybe this is a pipedream. I'm going to do more research, but wondering if anyone has done this.

Thanks for your reply. I really want to do it. I think it would be such useful information. It costs about $3,500 - I need to see if my insurance will cover some of it. Will keep you posted.

I don't know where you are located - but there is an excellent SPECT imaging center in Titusville Florida- and I believe the price is a lot more affordable.
