Our DS was diagnosed with ADHD four months ago.
My concern for you is that he had tics
Honestly, I would
A child may HAVE ADHD, but it is not what they ARE. Never tell a child they ARE ADHD.
His target dose for Strat is 26-39 mgs, so his dose was/is too low. I would go to a median range, 30-35 mgs. Since Strat is dosed by weight, it works differently than stimulants. It is a Norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor.
Hi, and welcome!
Tics can be exacerbated by stimulant meds, and especially if a child has Tourettes Syndrome.
