Hi guys. I posted a couple of weeks back concerning my daughter's upcoming evaluation.

HI, welcome back!

We do a high protein breakfast with meds( eggs, sausage, etc), and it seemed to help with stomachacahes. No Citrus with meds though.

W have had the short temper, but only when changing meds or adjusting to a new med. It passes for us, but if not I would speak to the Psychiatrist.

A child may HAVE ADHD, but it is not what they ARE. Never tell a child they ARE ADHD.

Shorter temper--when? It's fairly normal for them to be grumpy as the meds wear off, in the beginning. That's something that took a month or so to go away the 1st time my kid was on meds, but it did go away. For him, he was clearly getting upset about things that wouldn't usually bother him; it helped him know it was the meds affecting him.

*sigh* mine is singing more in a random manner, etc., etc., which is probably an indication that spring is here & at some point we'll have to bump the meds up, which is just NOT my favorite thing to have to figure out!
