I am not sure what your DS needs as far as accomodations, DD has a 504 plan, but ours are:
Oral testing for math ( DD can tell you verbatim what she learned a year ago, but she cannot write it down)
Content mastery available at all times
quiet room available at all times
teacher to get attention by lightly touching shoulder or desk, NOT calling name out in front of entire class.
There are others, but offhand I cannot remember them right now, it's been a long day....
Wrightslaw.com has lots of ideas for IEP accoms, really helped me out. And don't let them intimidate you, I tend to intimidate them actually, something about keeping the School district in court for 3 years.
A child may HAVE ADHD, but it is not what they ARE. Never tell a child they ARE ADHD.
