Would like a little input re: Meds - (m)

My 5.75 son was originally dx ADHD this past yr which we thought was right on considering how hyper he's been since almost birth - I had always referred to him as "Spirited" until he was dx.... then we tried Adderall and the rages increased 4 fold... we stopped the adderall - switched him to Strattera which helped some - he's doing the work at school but still VERY figgety and defiant.... And he was still raging a bit so when I did my research and saw the markers for bipolar I talked to pdoc armed w/info including that DH was dx BP in March and we put him on Trileptal (mood stabilizer) and he's been doing much more wonderful - he's lighter, happier and almost NOOO rages... but still we fight the hyperness.... I want to switch him back to a stimulant or add one into the works but wanted to get input from others in same boat... I know a few of you ladies have children w/BP issues as well as the ADHD... I was thinking of Concerta as I have read alot of info on it, and while you can't medicate ODD which is another aspect of Deven, I read that often the defiance is very much minimized on Concerta so I thought we could try it... Any experience, insight or thoughts are more then welcomed... I rambled a bit here (keep getting interrupted) so if there is something else you need to know/want to ask please do...
