I hate going out shopping, having a nice time, and coming home to the answering machine blinking with a message on it. UUghhhh!! Wed. I went out & came home to a message "PLease call Mr's Godwin at Sherwood School about your son". I had to go pick him up. Yesterday I just kept him home, he was ill tempered, didn't go to sleep the night before until midnight. We couldn't wake him Thurs AM even after trying for 45 minutes. So he stayed home. Today I go to the grocery store & came home to a message on the machine again. I almost didn't listen to it. When I did it was a friend calling me. I hate having that awful feeling everytime a message is left on my machine, or the phone rings during the day. Usually it will be about Joiner.

And aren't there times you are tempted just to disconnect the stupid thing? I don't, and I take my cell everywhere I go. I am a service evaluator so I am out and about alot.

But that feeling of lead, right in the pit of my tummy every time the phone rings! OR you have a meeting, you KNOW they never have anything good to say!

Yeah a meeting is NEVER to tell you your child has been awarded student of the year. I always get bad news. Why can't they send something or call when he has a GOOD day???
