zoloft and ADHD

My son has ADHD. He was put on Concerta for about 4 months now. It does seem to help with the homework, or it could be the teacher this year isn't giving as much. Anyways, he was recently put on zoloft for depression. Which I suspect anyways that he just has depression, although he's very hyperactive and aggressive(which the concerta doesn't seem to help that anyways). I am worried about his growth. He is 11 and should be expecting a growth spurt soon. He's always been short. I am only 5' tall. I would hate to think that the Concerta will alter his growth anymore. I want to try to take him off of it and just keep him on the Zoloft and see how that works. Any suggestions? please I am feeling really guilty.

Maybe this will help you not feel so guilty...

My DD has been on concerta now for 2 aand a half years and she is 5 foot 7 and a half inches tall. They have checked her ever three months since she went on Concerta. Now i will be the first one to admit I love concerta for the issues that she takes it for but the down side of it is the fact that when the concerta wears off she is bouncing off the walls... But as for what you decide just talk to your doctor and explain your concerns about the medications.. Most doctors are understanding and will help you through this..

Not sure I helped but I tried

hugs to you
