12 Polish Christmas Dishes...

I love all three of my children, I really do, but if my 6 y/o "autie" doesn't stop singing "The 12th Polish Christmas dish I bring to the party..." from A Very Veggie Christmas, I'm going to sell her to the gypsies! LOL
Okay, who else has a spectrum kiddo who won't stop singing one particularly irritating holiday tune??? Anybody? I know mine isn't the only one- this happens every year!
Honestly, I shouldn't complain. Two years ago she had no language skills at all. I guess the repetition of a silly Christmas song should bring me joy! BUT IT DOESN'T BECAUSE THE STUPID SONG KEEPS GETTING STUCK IN MY HEAD, TOO!!!!!
Somebody save me...please?
Amy

whose cookies are baked

On the first day of Christmas.....
Sorry couldn't resist.
Actually, I think I lucked out on that particular holiday lovely this year. Cait is addicted to the new Over the Rhine Christmas album (Can't say I mind that too much) and mike wants to listen to the same usual songs on my iPod. American Rejects, Death Cab for Cutie, etc. Not bad tunes but I am certainly glad he is getting his own iPod for Christmas because he is killing those songs for me.
Well you made me feel better about my holidays! ROFL
Renee
Who's shopping I think is done
Who's 1/2 done with wrapping,
Who needs to bake cookies still
Who is going absolutely crazy
No songs here being repeated, although Malcolm's fav is the Chipmunks sing Christmas...
But is it makes you feel any better,
my shopping is nowhere near done
my house is a total mess
I am not baking anything this year
But our tree is up and gorgeous because we are leaving for 2 weeks on Xmas Day and we wanted to get our good smell of pine and sitting with sparkly lights and glitter time over with, so our tree has been up for almost 2 weeks.
Ho ho ho,
Sara
No annoying xmas songs....yet!! Just constantly drawing Santa and his sleigh on anything that looks like paper, inc bills and wall.
Shopping's done
Half of gifts are wrapped
Baking???????
lol no songs here, but I am dealing with a 7 year old who is having trantrums (when he trantrums, he kicks spits, pulls hair etc.) because his schedule changed (3 weeks off started yesterday - UGH). I take him to day camp in a half an hour, me thinks I should of made it a whole day instead of half day today.
Lainie who....
Hasn't finished shopping yet
Hasn't baked any cookies yet
Hasn't wrapped anything yet
House is a mess
Amy,
I have the perfect solution:
You can come to my house for a few days and
visit my blog at www.onesickmother.com
I get to listen to several versions of Jingle Bells....the regular one and
Jingle Bells, Batman Smells
Robin layed an egg....
then Isaac doesn't know the rest of this one so he just mumbles.
Oh, ok, if you want to go to the joke songs route, I forgot this obsession which is making me crazy. Are ya ready.....
Dashing through the snow
On a broken pair of skis
Ore the fields we go
Crashing into trees
The snow is very red
I think I'm almost dead
I woke up in the hospital with stiches in my head...
Jingle bells, Batman smells, .....
(you know the rest)
remind me that when Isaac starts to read, he will not be allowed to visit this board.
never heard that one...can't say I am sad about that either.
ROFL!!!
Renee,

hehehehehehe
The best part is the kid who taught it to them. His mom is my closest IRL friend. She is EXTREMELY christian, allows no TV and only G rated movies. Her husband taught that to his kids who taught it to mine, ROFL. He has taught them a few others too.
But I admit I am a closet bad influence
