Poor lil' thing. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the flu mist has been associated with catching the flu. My own family doc won't give it any more due to outbreaks afterwards.

Yup, that is what I heard too. The flu mist can give you the flu. That's why I don't get why they are "pushing it for kids.' I saw they were on MSN news. Seems weird, some kinda consipracy...LOL. So now they can say its a bad flu season, but meanwhile everyone caught it from the flu mist.

He slept most of the night. The humidifier with the Vicks in it helped alot I think. We ended up not going to the Dr. today. He has not vomited since last night and he has only had diarrhea once today. He is very croupy now though. He is still very stuffy and his eyes are blood shot. He has that barking cough and his voice is hoarse.

I am going to keep him out of school again tomorrow I think. I may take him to the Dr. and make sure he does not have a sinus infection or anything if he is still the same.

We went to see that Dr. today. It turns out that he has a bad viral infection. The Dr. said that it is going around really bad. He gave him some cough meds and told him that he could not return to school till after the holiday.

Hopefully he will be feeling better before Thanksgiving.

awwwww, I hope he is feeling better now. I'm so glad it wasn't pneumonia. Siobhan had that in Kindergarten and she was sick for an entire month.
