Well, yesterday dh was home, so we went shopping together while the boys were in school. Dh decided he wanted to try the toaster biscuits...they're kinda like english muffins, but softer like biscuits. I told him that I've bought them before, but he couldn't remember..LOL. So, anyway, lastnight dh popped them in the toaster and spread butter and jam on them. Nathan was curious, and actually smelled them when dh put them up to his nose. Dh asked Nathan if he wanted a bite...AND HE DID!!! He ended up eating all of his dad's plate!!!! Dh had to go back to the kitchen to get more, and then Nathan ATE MORE!!! He kept telling me, "I want this in my lunch"..."don't forget mom, I want this in my lunch". I don't remember how many times he repeated this...it was tooo funny!!!
At the beginning of the school year, I wasn't sure what I was going to pack in his lunch for school. It's been a struggle trying to find something that he will eat. He won't eat sandwiches...AT ALL!! But this...is a step toward a jelly sandwich!!!! He likes peanutbutter....so perhaps....one day, we will actually be eating a pb&j sandwich!!!!!

ps....he had this for breakfast this morning too!!!!

Michelle....that's awesome. It is wonderful that he actually just tried something new.....and even better that he liked it. Good for him! I have a terribly picky guy myself......he has a VERY short list of foods he will eat.
WTG Nathan!

Yay! that's so funny! he ate his dad's whole plate and more! I would be doing a happy dance and scaring my child! I wish I could find something that would get Owen to eat some kind of bread.

Michelle,
Holy cow! This is two new foods in what... a week? WTG Nathan!
He must be on a development spurt, or maybe a growth spurt(!). Whatver it is, I hope it doesn't stop.

Jake does the same thing. I can't get him to eat something and then all of a sudden he tries it and can't stop eating it! But seriously that's great news!
