Is there a good (Active) forum for ADULTS with Asperger Syndrome. So much is focussed on the kids. It's like we grow up and become normal or don't exist or something. What ones I've found are like desert land (no one shows).

It has 47 members, but seems to have a lot going on right now. They are talking about religion. That can be a hot topic. I looked and saw on some months it gets very little activity. But on other months it moves quickly.

Are there any groups that are worth trying for partners of aspies? I don't want one that bags their spouses. I want one where we can share experiences and maybe gain some insight into how our partners work. It is difficult to know what questions to ask our partners when we don't have the full picture.

In that respect,Ms Larissa, I'd say smell the flowers in this yard! There are quite a lot of very supportive spouses here. I'd think you could start your own board on that topic, but then you'd have to do a lot of repeat typing. Maybe a new subject section?

Just an idea. But you would then have nosy folks like me, who's dh is an engineer, but not an Aspie engineer, reading it!

Joy, Joy! I found one! I did a search on google and found the Asperger's Marriage Web Sight! I also found one on the Delphi boards, but it was for Aspie couples and very clear that the NT role was to support the Aspie.

I agree that this board is great for talking about our partners and being supportive. I always think of this board as being more for the kids as there are so many issues to cover to get our kids up and running that I don't want to keep going on about dh. A sub-section might be the way to go.
