I just googled her. I knew who she was but somehow ended up missing that performance doing Aretha. My first thought when I saw her on the show was of course was hmmmm strange dresser, but that girl can sing. I have never seen an interview and am glad I did.
You guys are right. Totally Aspiesh. And oh how she loves her cat lol.
I thought the same thing!! Just told my husband that this morning and googled this. Interesting. She sure expresses a lot of deep emotion when she performs. Simon seems intrigued.
I thought this the first time I heard her speak. I have a step-daughter with Asperger's and recognized the lilt and inflection in her speaking voice. There's that look in the eyes as well. I think she has mild Asperger's
so I never watch American idol. But I am at my moms tonight and she watches it all the time. Any way this girl dressed in weird clothes sang and I was listening to her talk and I said to my mom she is a wee bit odd. Then I said my most famous saying. "I think that one is on the spectrum". My mom rolled her eyes and laughed at me then I remembered a post on here. I chuckled when I realized you are all talking about the same girl. Siobhan has a wicked awesome voice! I wonder if she is an aspie?

She is becoming my favorite, and not because I think she is an Aspie. She has an incredible voice. I think her problem is that she loves singing those high notes so much (as she stated once she wished she could sing them all the time) she might hurt herself doing it too much. Everyone knows she can hit the notes, I just hope she can figure out how to put a boundary on that one. Contain it just a bit.
And we allll know how our kids do with boundaries lol.
