Thank you for posting this -- this is a huge pick-me-up. Often times we as moms feel defeated and at the end of our ropes, this proves we can't always be perfect.
Love the site you posted as well. I ordered the manners DVD in hopes this will help my 10 year old ASD manage a little better. Common sense is not available in my sons model. Anyway, thank you. I intend to send the link to the Special Ed director at our school and see if they can't order some videos for the teachers. Knowledge is golden -- you can never have enough.
Thank you for posting this. What a wonderful article and website. I also ordered the manners dvd. I'm hoping it will prove to be helpful with Haley. She has a very hard time with social situations. She tends to over-compensate by being overly aggressive in regards to conversations. I'm looking forward to watching it with her.
We just rec'd the Manners videos and my ASD and typical son sat and watched it and laughed and laughed. Then afterwards they started using some of the techniques offered in the video. Would recommend for kids (8 and up) who need subtle reminders about manners and how to navigate.
The site offers a lot of good information. Thank you for posting the link. I will be back to buy more. They are soon coming out with a DVD for siblings in how to cope with their brothers/sisters "odd" behavior -- I will be sure and buy that one too.
Thank you for posting that Debbie. I haven't posted yet about it, but my son's IEP last thursday was terrible. I needed a lift.

Just wanted to offer my review.
