Anxiety attacks

So I get a call from the nurses office yesterday. My son is in the office with chest pains. She gave him some pain meds and sent him back. The he comes back with a tummy ache. I tell her about his acid reflux and she gives him a Tums and sends him back to class. She was a new nurse so I explained to her about him being aspie and that he may be having a spell. Thankfully she knew a kid with aspergers and knew exactly what was going on. Well then he comes back again saying he has a cold. By this time we had decided that he was going to keep coming back until I came and got him.
After he came home and we got to talking, I figured out that he had an anxiety attack.

My ds started showing up at the office this year too, saying he thought he was having an asthma attack because his chest hurt. His were also anxiety attacks. I talk to him on the phone for a little while, but I don't go pick him up. He usually calms a bit when I talk to him, and we just talk about what he's doing, etc... to try and see if there is a reason for the attack. Usually I can't find one, but talking to me helps him. However, his doctor is talking about putting him on meds, so I'll have to let you know how that goes. I hope things start to get better for you soon.
