Okay now...don't everybody raise their hands all at once, okay???
Claire just got her "Flat Stanley" assignment...any guesses where this is going???
I would love it somebody with an older child, perhaps one who remembers doing the same project, would be willing to have Flat Stanley come for a visit. I promise to send a pre-paid return envelope.
I'd ask a family member, but all of my family members (except one) live in Illinois. And I also thought it might be neat if Flat Stanley could meet another child with an ASD? Maybe helping her first grade class understand that there are kids like Claire all over the country???
If you're interested in helping me out, drop me a note at:
Thank You!

I think they want Stanley returned before the end of October. How does that fall into your schedule?

End of October!?! Holy cow! I guess they don't expect for the Stanleys to get invited to very many places. The Flat Stanley we had going around for our homeschooling ascociation last year took 8 months to make the rounds, spending only two days at each stop. The rule of thumb is 5 days to mail between visits. It usually takes less, but still!
Any way you can explain to Claire's teacher that her Stanley ended up being extremely popular and he'll need more time?
Oh no...I think we may have a misunderstanding! LOL
I will be sending multiple Stanley's on Claire's behalf. In fact, everybody is getting their own Stanley to "do with as they please."
I hope that's okay with everybody.
Hmm...guess I should've made myself more clear. Sorry.
Amy
Okay, that works too! LOL.
