Is completely inappropriate behaviour a part of a child's diagnosis?

Let's say pretending to urinate on another person with gross gestures while laughing, for example. The other person is laughing too. You come into the room and tell him to STOP RIGHT NOW! He does and looks embarrassed/shocked, and goes to his room as asked. I'm not talking Oppositional Defiant Disorder though (although it could look that way at school) just doing wrong things then stopping when asked then not doing it again.

Is this part of their ASD?

I think it's part of being a kid of a certain age -especially a boy.

Based on my experiences with my DS (13 yo) and my stepson (19 yo), what you are describing is totally normal, tween male behaviour. They eventually outgrow it...for the most part, anyway, LOL.

It actually sounds more like a typical grade school boy. Shocking, yes, disability related, not really. The only thing that might end up being disability related to this is several years down the line, he might still be doing it because he does not get that everyone else his age has moved on from such antics.

Mine is 15 now - and did not outgrow this type of thing... in fact it got worse as he moved into puberty and
