We recently received a Dx of GAD with recommended counseling and observation for possible AS testing in a year or two if the characteristics persist or get stronger.
My son has a dx of PDD-NOS (which is sometimes called atypical autism) because he doesn't fit all the boxes in the exact right way to get a dx of classic Autism.
