wow! that is cool! he makes a lot of observations that I think ring pretty true. So many people look at me w/ pity when I talk about my son's Dx, but I think he couldn't possibly have been so gifted in some areas if he weren't autistic. He's much much more compassionate than any of his siblings and much less self-centered. He seems to understand spiritual things much more thoroughly than his siblings-- partly I think it's because he meditates on things he's learned and not bothered by the flurry of activity of life most days.
Thanks for posting this......it was interesting. I am currently reading one of his other books.......my favorite parts of the book are when he shares what his actual experiences were as a child.
