for those of u that remember me posting about my daughters sudden sleep issues last week, i had to give an update..
nothing is psychically wrong with her that much we knew, weather its fear/separation anxiety/etc. we cant tell.. so we are still giving in and giving her the comfort and rocking her to sleep for now. which of course is still killing my husband and me.. The Psychologist of course had no real good suggestions.. im starting to think there are no good dr.s out there.. but anywho my true reason for posting is what happend yesterday.. my husband managed to successfully get her rocked and in bed all under 25 mins woohoo, but about 2 hrs later when i knew she should be waking up i was trying to keep my ears open to hear her , when i suddenly hear high pitched crying.. i race upstairs to find her trembeling under her bed!! I have never ever seen her completly get under her bed before so u can imagine my shock. and i got her and was trying to calm her down asking "baby why were u under your bed, whats wrong" but of course she never said anything. so whats your alls take on that?? ever witnessed anything similar ??

Sounds like nightmares or something else scary that she can't process right now.
Does she remember in the morning? It could be night terrors - which are horrible to watch, but kids generally don't remember afterwards. Night terrors are a product of early sleep patterns so one thing that might work is to wake the child 30-45 minutes after they fall asleep. My 8yo AS DS still have night terrors that seem to be rleated to stress/anxiety/anger. If we can tell he's had a "bad day", we will wake him early in the night and the does the trick.
