Best of LUCK!

I have noticed in our party invites that it is VERY common for not a lot of kids to go who are invited. Families have other things to do, etc. I would warn him in advance with a social story or similar that he can invite lots of people but that usually not all the kids come and sometimes only a few come and it is ok. It just means the families are busy or had something else planned. Then I would invite as many as possible and you will likely get a few. There are usually a few school moms who do everything at the school and go to all the parties. I would also invite cousins, friends kids, coworkers kids, etc.

You are brave. We don't do parties. I hate them with a passion now after years of dealing with ASD issues with them. I even hate going to them! This year we are planning family trips for birthdays. THe kids birthdays are close together so we put the boys together for a trip and the girls together for a trip. I probably spend about the same as I would on a party and it works better for our family.
