OMG if it's not one it's the other. I swear Liam and Cian have a tag team thing going on. Liam earned a five at school today (yea), then fell apart at home; melted about everything. Cian was adream all day and then once those two get together they just rub each other the wrong way. By eveing dh and I were ready to throttle both of them.
Liam's latest is when he doesn't remember what happened (at school that day or something else a day or two ago) he'll "embellish" the facts with makey up ones. This has gotten so bad I honestly do not know what to believe from him at all. It's not quite deliberate lying as it is filling in the gaps, but then even when I know he's filling in the gaps, he sticks to his stotry or usually changes it again, so it is making anything he utters quite suspect, kwim?
Cian is getting sillier by the day; goofy and odd at the most inooportune times. When he gets into trouble (eg: eliberately doesn't follow directions, or does teh oppsisite of what is being asked he laughs, kicks and his body just becomes all floppy and in his mind its a great game we're playing (although I may be trying to get him dressed or in/out of the bath etc)
Arrrghgh,
brw: I meet with a therapist tomorrow; I'm not a very nice Mommy these days and I need some perspective, kwim?
Dee

Dear Dee,
Yes therapy has been very, very helpful to me, too!! Except she keeps telling me what a huge strain I am under lol. Hello, this is my life!!!
Sara
Now why didn't I think of that? Therapy for moi? Honestly Dee, what a great thing you're doing for yourself. One of my only friends in this area is a LCSW, but I hate to call her up with all my problems...it's kind of like asking your neighbor the dentist to look in your mouth, KWIM???
Just so you know, it's not only boys that are making moms daft. Somewhere along the line Claire started behaving as if her proper Dx is ODD. The fights over homework leave me in tears almost nightly. Her 1:1 has given up on having her participate in the classroom...now they just leave the room and find a quiet place for Claire to do her work. *sigh* Gawd I hope we get moved before the start of the next school year!
Amy
Dee,
Well,
There really must be something in the air...pollen, mold....something.
Sam and Harrison are driving each other crazy as well....well, Harrison is driving Sam crazy anyhow. He wants everything Sam has and wants to do anything he is doing. Including homework, which is difficult enough without a 2 year old distracting your already distractible older son who doesn't want to do math drills anyhow!!! argh....
I actually put the baby gate in the door of Harrison's (very safe) room to separate them at one point. That was helpful until he found the baby wipes. LOL
