A BRAG! Social butterfly...
Find a Conversation

I think Peter has found his medium:
Videoconference.
For Christmas this year, the adults all chipped in and bought a laptop computer and webcam for my MIL and GMIL. So Christmas morning we set up a 3 way VC: NY, CA, and Scotland.
Peter stayed in front of the computer for well over a half-hour, chatting to his rellies. He sang "Jingle Bells" and "Frosty the Snowman" for his Great-Gran, He suggested Gran change the batteries on her webcam when she couldn't get it working (lol). He thanked everyone very nicely for their gifts, bringing each one to the camera to display. He introduced the kittens one by one, showed the cookies he made in his sister's easy-bake oven, and was utterly charming throughout.
Siobhan was shy. She did show a few treasured possessions to the camera, but refused to be drawn into conversation.
Now I know. Just KNOW, that as soon as they hung up, someone asked. "And why is he is Special Ed?"
They think it's all in my head. And he doesn't help by having moments like this .
....but I am really proud of him!

Paula,
That sounds sooo sweet!! I would've loved to see Peter, he must've been a hoot!!!! LOL I know that when Nathan speaks up...which is rare...it just cracks me up!! It's so nice to see them take initiative when doing something!
