OK, I have had it with this driver......
The last few days she has been arriving between 6:45-6:55 am and dropping off between 2:25-2:42pm.

You have every right to ask for a new driver if you don't feel comfortable with the one you have. I don't know if you'll get one but there's no harm in asking. There's no way you will be able to deal with this BS when the baby comes so I would sort it now while yoy still have time.

Here's irony; I slept in this morning and woke up when Liam climbed into bed with me at 7:27am,....arrrrgh, bus came and went and school was about to start and it was 25 mins away.
I'm sure the driver thinks I'm deliberately provoking her now, but honestly I'm just a fat and pregnany Mammy who is done in!
We had a similar problem with the driver in the am last year. Told me one time then was consistently showing up early. Ok, typically early is good but not when it is 6:20 in the am and your autistic kid has to finish thier routine. She got all pissy with me, which stressed Cait out and she would refuse to get on the bus. Finally on the last morning I got her on the bus and went in the house. I was promptly called 5 minutes later to go back outside because Cait refused to sit down and put on her seat belt.
I just cancelled the bus in teh am after that. Pain to drive her cross town but not near as bad as the regular morning meltdowns.
Any chance DH could drop Liam on his way in the AM? Would he be late for work? I know having you do it is impossible with impending new baby and other little one at home.
Of course if Liam is doing ok on the bus and it is just a matter of having to deal with the woman personally then it is likely worth the headache to get him on the bus.

Yes, actually Liam seems oblivious to the fact that the woman is a nincompoop; its pretty much just me and her butting heads.
