Calls to the docs

I called to schedule DD for her 3yo appt. I called to schedule DS with the p-doc..not til August but she is very good so maybe we'll get some real help. And I called my own doc to discuss changing my meds cause things are not working for me and I'm tired of dragging my butt around and having no energy and no desire to do anything at all. The office is supposed to call me back. I hope cause it might take me 8 weeks to get around to calling them but by golly they need to call me ASAP. LOL.

And after reading the posts about anti-anxietal meds I'm wondering if I should have something for both the depression and the anxiety. So thanks for sharing all of your stories cause it was part of the reason I got off my butt and made the call.

DS has two weeks off from school right now and even though he is being good, I realize how much I rely on those 3 hours a day when he is doing other stuff with other people. Is it too early to wish for school to start again?

Thanks,

Heather

Hi Heather!
Good for you for taking care of yourself! As far as school being out and missing those 3 hours, can Tom do quiet time? I dont know how he is with playing alone, but on the weekends after lunch Nick has his quiet time if we are home. We keep with the school routine. They nap right after lunch so he has to be in his room, door closed too. He has everything he wants, cars, trucks, books, crayons, etc. He will usually play for an hour, get tired and then sack out. He has a Get out of the Room twice once allowance to ask/show me something and thats it, unless it is a bathroom run. We need the recharge time and if he doesnt nap, he is a bear later on. Have you tried that?
