Hi Everyone,

I've just ordered the Cathy Bollinger CD "My Turn, Your Turn".

Hi Pam,

I just got this cd too and was also going to post about it, but you beat me to it! I agree, it is especially good for AS kids. My 3 yo really likes music and he is very interested in this cd. We listen to it in small doses in the car and practice all the things. It really reinforces the social skills work he is doing in school. But Eric's attention span is still short so we only do a little at a time

It certainly hits all our problem areas, greetings, eye contact, taking turns, etc.

I also like that they have kids singing on it and that it's like a little social story cd with chances for the listeners to participate.

As a mom, I laugh so hard to myself at the "save some for later" song that is about a child wanting to talk so much about a topic that he/she loves (our kids' little obsessions) but that it's ok to save some of that info for another conversation. The child on the cd is talking on and on about rocks and it reminds me so much of my boy who can do a similar dissertation on the planets or thomas trains!

I recommend this cd too!

Katherine

Thanks for posting this Pam. The social skills CD looks really good. I may buy it for Cassian also. He learns so well from music.
