Do you have difficulty telling if your child is ill? We do. Kyle is hard to read. He says he has a bad stomach ache and feels nauseous. Although to look at him you couldn't tell it. He's lying on the couch watching magic schoolbus smiling away. IF dh hadn't been in sever pain w/ his stomach all weekend I'd think he's faking it.

CJ had pneumonia last year. Never had a fever, just a slight cough. I had to demand a chest x-ray. Then I got to tell the doc "I told you so."

Last weekend, he said his belly button hurt, but acted fine. Was laughing, walking around the carnival with us. Then out of the blue, he threw up.

He doesn't ever look or act sick. It is amazing. Is it just with kids on the Spectrum?

Matthew (NT, as far as we know), looks and acts sick when he doesn't feel well.

I don't get it.

Then again, am I supposed to?

Did you know those are signs of apendicitis? Is CJ better now? I hope so.

Samantha, I had NO idea those coulb signs of appendicitis! CRAP!

He is much better now. He was sick 4 times that evening. Just long enough that we had to postpone his birthday party that was scheduled for the next day.

I think I'll start listening to him more closely when he talks about his belly button.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!
