Thomas is continuosly misplacing things like his shoes and his special blanket and it is driving me nuts.
We were supposed to go grocery shopping once his cousins that had been here pretty much all week got picked up today, but instead I found myself hunting for a missing Tennis shoe of course one was right where it belonged but where oh where was the other one.
I had everyone searching for the shoe or his other sandle which has been missing for a couple weeks now and when after almost 1/2 an hour it still wasn't found I said forget it so we stayed home.
I finally went outside so I wouldn't blowup at the kids seeing I was a wee bit ticked off and walked over near the outside toys and look down and lo and behold what do I find but the shoe.
I cannot figure out how he managed to get one shoe in the house but not the other but he did.
So how do you get your kids to put their shoes or other items where they belong?
I have told him and showed him over and over again where they need to go but he just doesn't care and I always end up finding them everywhere but where they should be.

I think this is a problem with ALL children. We're always looking for Henry's shoes and Mark's shoes. And when I say "we", I mean me. Henry will stand in the middle of the room, turn his head slightly to the left and slightly to the right, then tell me he can't find them anywhere.
He learned how to search for things from his father, apparently.
I hope someone has an excellent solution.
