Does your Aspie Child do this?

What does some your Aspie Child do? In a daily time frame? Does he or she wonder away from you? Does he or she have more than one "melt downs" in one day? That kind of stuff!?
Mindy

Do you mean what do they do to differentiate themselves from NT kids?
Well, my guy is PDD-NOS but some of his things...wakes early, has just recently starting sleeping through the night on a regular basis (and he is 5.5).
Hi, wondering if you can be more specific.
My kids are older now but when they were younger tantrums were multiple times a day. NOw we have some tense stubborn moments each day, outbursts from one of them usually a few times a day to many but it depends on his day.
They don't wander off anymore but my DD was queen of that for sooooo long. In fact up to 5th grade she would get lost at school often because she had wandered off from recess, etc. In 4th grade she wandered completely off campus. When she was a toddler/preschooler she wandered from us all the time without a care and sometimes would tantrum because we wouldn't let her wander off.
I wonder why you are asking?

Heather,
That is what I was looking for. I have a 7 yr old who has not been Diagnose with Asperger's Syndrome but we know that is what he has. They took us that he has ADHD and SID and that is it. Than we got a call from a doctor tell us that he was wrong and he does have Asperger's Syndrome but it is not on paper. We are getting the diagnoses on the 28th of this month. My son does alot of this that are not "normal". He has melt downs and outbursts all the time, he wanders of from me all the time, he is having a hard time in school, he loves watching movies over and over again, he loves cars, he loves stuff animals, any games, he is does good with numbers but not the ABC's thing. He hits himself sometimes when he does have he outbursts. He has a hard time with alot of people in small areas and sometimes has a hard time with noise being to loud. Anyway Thank you so much for that info.
Mindy
