Dr Jade

Okay, so, yesterday Jade is gathering up a bunch of toys to make a pretend doctor's kit. Actually she was setting up a surgical suite I think. But anyway, she comes up to me and says "Mommy, can I use a spatualla?" I look down at her and ask why. She says "So if one of my patients sticks to the table I can get them off, of course." Gee, why didn't I think of that? LOL. I told her no, she couldn't use a spatualla, but she might try putting a sheet down on the operating table like real doctors do. She said "WOW! What a good idea!" LOL.

So a little while later she is going through her game sets in front of DH an me. She picks up a plastic bowling pin and taps it against the palm of her hand and gives a firm nod. As she slips the pin into her bag DH asks "What are you going to use the bowling pin for?" She gives him this look like she's shocked he would even have to ask and says "So I can knock out my patients silly. You wouldn't want them being awake durring the opperation would you?" ROFL. So DH (while trying really hard not to laugh) says "Don't you think they'll get upset if you hit them over the head with that thing?" She replied "Oh, I'll just hit them a little bit."

And it's times like that that make living with Aspies so much fun.
