That is wonderful.
We had a heck of a time with regressions in potty with Cait from the time she was 3 until she was 4 1/2, nearly 5. We were silly people who tried from the magic 2yo on to potty train her. After a year she got it slightly but had loads of relapses. Everytime she would get any attention for an accident, even negative, she wouldn't go in the potty again for weeks and we and the school had to retrain her totally.
It finally happened. She hasn't had an accident since. Once she got the idea she got it. She has never even wet the bed. Can't say the same for other kids of mine (even typical ones).
It is a major, MAJOY accomplishment. Trust me. I understand your excitement

Awesome news!!! Potty training is the WORST. My little one is 20 months....NT as far as we know....not even sure when to attempt potty training with this one.

I am really happy for you! I agree that potty training is one of the hardest issues for us and our kids. Go ahead and get as excited as you want while you are here!

Congratulations!!! That's a great accomplishment! I know what you mean about finding such joy in what others would consider "small miracles". They aren't so "small" to those of us who watch and wait for those moments that truly make our day.

Thanks everyone!
I did tell Isaac earlier in the week that if he chooses to stop pooping in his pullups, and ONLY poop in the toilet, I will take him to the store (which is a real treat, I don't take him shopping anymore) and he can pick out his own underwear, whatever he wants!
