I mentioned the book in chat last night. It is part of a book series for kids. One of the leading characters is an Aspie. The book series is called Wright and Wong, authors Laura J. Burns and Melinda Meiz.
Josh has been basically forced to read it by me. And so far he has been able to identify with the character. It will be a slow process to get the kid to read the book but For those of you with avid readers. This might be a good book. Once Josh is done with it I will read it to see if i can see what the deal is..

Thanks, Rina! Noah's got a birthday coming up, and these will be the perfect compliment to the video games he's asking for!

Thanks for the reminder of this book series. My 12yo read one of those and enjoyed it, but I keep forgetting to look for more. It was a bit of a harder read for my 8yo.
My 8yo enjoyed reading "The Blue Bottle Mystery" and it's sequel "Of Mice and Aliens," both by Kathy Hoopmann (who also does the "All Cats Have Asperger Syndrome" book which I like). Of course, ds was also attracted to the books because one of the characters shares his name, but he also just thought it was a fun read.
I looked up this book on Barnes and Noble and read the synopsis to Lil Vic. He was thrilled. He can't wait til Wednesday when we can go buy it for him. WOW, I never thought I'd ever find a book he LOVED after Nate the Great. Thanks for the heads up.
