Lovely day. Nana # 1 is here to hang with ds when necessary and I went to work this AM. Nana let Malcolm play his computer typing program and some online linked games, practise his piano and clean his hamster cage (while playing with hamsters, of course) because dh had to fly around town getting homeschool forms and running errands. He had therapy early afternoon and then went on a long bike ride down and back up the East River with dh. After dinner, we did our first school session.
He did a few pages of math equations and word problems, did some geography worksheets and reading assigments on sentence structure, etc. Drew pictures of his hamsters, wrote 2 paragraphs about what he knows and thinks of 9/11. He read me a book about a farting dog and talked with Nana about all the mischevious things I got in trouble for as a child.
Not bad. Good. Feeling a little better. Love this kid. Yup. ilovemalcolm.
