No experience with focalin but honest to god I was considering it this weekend for Dave for exactly the same reasons. He is SOOOOOO hyper for like the last 2 weeks and growing that I can hardly take it. I don't think he can stand himself anymore.

THis is one of his usual regression type things though so it will blow over.....eventually. Typically his behavior goes in the tubes, he has lost language skills in the past and is completely manic. YES BP has been mentioned for him in the past but depakote was not our friend. Ritalin mellowed him out BIG time but caused seizures and usually we can survive through it but....

I think his neurology is somewhat similar to those things but completely unique and thus far we are able to get through it with modifications, patience, etc. Not to the extreme that he needs extra but man he is making his dad and i ABSOLUTELY NUTS!!!!!
