Liam is also on focalin xr and yup, once those 10 mg wear off that child is a stimmy mess, (usually by 4pm). Liam still has frustration issues (hence the AP) but without focalin he's a disaster (his words, not mine, lol).

Actually am thinking Cian may need something similar, (see above post response, sigh).

Glad things are getting better :)

My 9yo recently started Adderall. He has horrible meltdowns when it's wearing off. We just today started Strattera to try to counter the "rebound effect" of the Adderall. It's supposed to take several days to a few weeks for the Strattera to totally kick in, but I'll be eager to see it balance out the Adderall. Ds takes the Adderall (stimulant) in the morning and the Straterra (non-stimulant) in the evening (drowsy side-effect). The Adderall wears off every day. The Straterra is supposed to stay in his system, so once it's built up, it should help even out the Adderall. We'll see...
