We're slowing putting DS on a casein-free, yeast/vinegar-free diet. We meet with the allergist Monday for blood results and I'm anticipating gluten too, but for now just the other too. We haven't gotten to the whole-hog point yet. We've eliminated all the obvious dairy sources, but we haven't gotten to the yeast yet. Anyway, over the past week, he's gotten horrible dark circles under both eyes - looks a prize fighter. He had these about a year ago before we started him on zyrtec (before we suspected food allergies). Now he's getting allergy shots weekly for his mold and dust mite allergies. When it first started in earlier in the week, I thought maybe it was because over xmas break we had to go from 2x a week to just one shot a week due to the doctor's office being closed for holidays and I just kept it up since. But he had a shot yesterday and today he looks even worse. He keeps rubbing them and complaining that they itch. I know they say

Trisha,

I think you should check with the doc. It is best to be safe than sorry. It could be expected, or maybe

I would talk to the doctor about it. When we removed milk products from Lily's diet due to food allergies, she actually lost the black circles under her eyes. I hope the doctor can help you figure out what is going on.
