Even if you did mes up the meds (which you and I both know you didn't) trileptal builds in the system and a little more or less wouldn't have an effect on one day.
With trileptal we had a pretty quick positive response and after a few months it just wasn't working anymore.
Maybe it is the moon or lack of sunlight, my son was off the walls today. We had planned to decorate for Halloween then go to an open house at a music hall. Usually both would have interested him. Took a meltdown during decorating. We finished for today, then a cousin called to invite him to play at the park. We jumped at that invitation. (they don't come very often). We took cousin to music hall. Son picked his nose, talked back, jumped on me, touched walls-displays-everything,gave strange looks/gestures to people on the street and bus.He spilled his drink at the restaurant, etc..
It's been a several months since he was this bad. Actually it was the end of summer... could be seasonal.
I can empathize with you. I really hate when days like this happen though. I know how you feel like you're constantly redirecting and it's just not working. Hang in there! Tomorrow is going to be a better day.
Evelyn, I've had my fair share of those days! I know Jake gets really nuts when he eats anything with sugar or coloring in it. I swear it just instantly sets him off running in circles and talking nonsense within seconds of eating it. I feel your pain! Teresa
Evelyn,
I'm sorry. I know these bursts are tough on you guys, and I don't know what to advise you, other than contain as much as possible and ride it out.
My gut feeling it that you didn't mess up the meds. -I don't actually think that is the kind of thing you would do. Maybe for your own meds,

I also doubt that you messed up the medicine.
Thanks everyone, for your responses.
Oh Evelyn!
I was LOLing at your bathtub comment.
Oh, thank you, Debbie!

Well, David does get more sugar than he really needs.
