I can't even tell you how excited I am that DS Justus (7, PDD-NOS, bi-polar) has a "typical" peer friend!

What a true blessing for you and your son! We have the same prayer for our ds (9) and he does have some kids his life so we are always counting our blessings but still always praying for one special friend too!
It's heartwarming to hear some good news for our wonderful kids!

I have to admit I teared up reading your post because I think this is the one issue that we all worry about and it gives me hope for Jakes future to know that there are kids just like the little boy in your sons class that are open and willing to befriend a child with special needs.
