I have a few "good" autism stories lately and I figure everyone else must have some too. Thought it would be fun to have a tread to put them in.
Everyone join in (now I have a few to add myself.)

I can't think of too many cute, funny stories right now, even though I know I have lots because I always do. I'm just too tired to think. It is a real pleasure to hear all of yours, though, and I also laughed out loud at the "she has more autism line", GREAT!!!
OK, here's one -- Malcolm recently got a cool haircut (finally) at his request. I took him to my hairdresser, works out of his apt. in building in the Village where Malcolm was a baby, so they know each other well. He got to design his cut with hairdresser's help, I left all the decisions up to the 2 of them, except when Malcolm asked if he could change his haircolor, too, I said "not until you're a little older"... So he gets a great, great cut, which looks super, and now he is watching for when he needs a trim -- "NOW", he says the other day, "it's growing out and I want it to look SHARP".
"And by the way, Mom, you need to go, too, I see your darker hair growing in"...
Oh, oh, oh --
And at his last well-child visit, he tells his doctor, soto voce: "And did you know that her hair (pointing to me) is NOT REALLY yellow, it's really BROWN!??! And she never told me!!! Isn't that shocking?"
ROFLMAO!!!!
You have been ratted out Mom! We now know your True color! Don't you just LOVE honesty (not!).
I have actually colored mike's hair and Dave. Just highlighted. A kid in Mike's school did it so it was the only way I could think of to get him to let me cut it. It is way cool on both the boys. They look like a couple of beach bums!
I have been told such niceties myself and ratted out. KIDS!

Well this is funny to my husband but I turned 30 shades of red.
We went to a mexican restaurant here in El Paso ( 5 min from Mexican Border, we should have known better) and both DH and Victor ended up with food poisoning. Bryanna and I got American food :) we knew ours was cooked. Anyway, so after being up all night with Lil Victor, I told my husband that I couldn't get him a dr appt so I was going to the ER. Well DH decided that he should get checked out also and since he was on leave, he had slept through sick call so he went to ER and took Victor along for the ride. Well, Victor was about 7 when this went down, and thought it was killer cool to go to the dr with Dad.
They went through the whole song and dance, where does it hurt, temperature, blood pressure, weight. When the doctor finally got in to see the boys, he said to Victor "Well, it says here you weigh 63lbs. That's just the right weight for you". Victor replies "Yes, but my mommy weighs 250lbs." DH said he and the doctor both chuckled through the whole visit.

LOL I am enjoying reading all of these posts. Great thread Renee! BTW my little business man forgot that he doesn't know how to make a game lololol. My nephew told me about a site that teaches you how to make one. Its a free download. I found it and both boys spent the day trying to figure it out. Its a bit hard at first, but I figure a challenge is always good for them lol.
I thought I would share it since I know there's probably alot of kids here that like games. Just google Gamemaker and its the first link that shows up.
Anyone who learns it, and wants a job should submit a resume to my email hehehe.
This happened at Christmas, and Debbie told me to post it then, but I never got around to it.
My mom took my boys Ry, 7 NT and Bradon 5, PDD-NOS+many other issues out shopping while she had them for the day.
One more for now......
Bradon HATES to get his hair cut!
I was telling stories tonight.
