Wish us luck.

Tomorrow Everett and I are going to NYU for an AS study. As he had never been officially diagnosed as AS they will officially dx him and I will get paid for it since it is a clinical study.

I let you know how it goes.

The study measured his heart rate via EKG and sweat on his palms while playing a computer game. You get paid a combine price of $60 ($30 for you and $30 for your child). I found out about it because we were referred to NYU for evaluation and NYU does take insurance and I don't have the money to pay cash so they looked into their ongoing studies that Everett would possibly be eligible for. The study is accepting ADHD, Autism, and Asperger kids between the ages of 12 to 17. The number I called was 212-263-6622.
By being eligible for one of their studies evaluation is included in the study that you wind up getting paid for.

That is funny, sweat on their palms. My son is too young for the study, but I do know a few older PDD kids and will pass the info along, why not?

I think of you and your kids now every time I drive by the Intrepid. Friday we took a group of Malcolm's pals out to Coney Island for a birthday extravaganza with rides, junk food and fireworks -- a big blow out, such fun! Coney Island rocks.

In regards to your other thread, I also throw up when I get migraines, and I also sometimes get motion sickness, although with me I usually only get motion sickness when it is VERY hot outside. I also only started getting this motion sickness/migraines when in puberty --- then it stopped -- and now again perimenopausal...
