Yes it gets easier.

They grow up, get married and become Somebody Else's Problem.

It's time to pull out that bottle of wine and forget everyone this vacation.

"They grow up, get married and become Somebody Else's Problem"

OH PLEASE let it be so!

My only problem is my kids keep getting crushes on other Aspies. This cannot be good for the someone elses problem thing. More like I am going to get to know the inlaws more than I EVER wanted to.

Thank you all; you have made me feel supported and even given me a chuckle.

Paula, you are too funny! Thanks for the laugh. Funny, I spent my 20's convinced that I would NOT become a mommy-type wife. I may just spend my 60's looking for such women for my kids!

Lainie, you already hooked me up with a lovely virtual high. It really helped. I spent the next morning alone in my house cleaning (kicked out the boys) and the afternoon with guests which really kept me outside of myself for a while.

Molly, thank you for reminding me that I do have a lot.

And Renee, hmmmm. Well, at least the MIL is never expected to be 24/7 like the M.

Love ya all!
