glad you spoke your mind. did she think you were hanging out in the waiting room for the fun of it ?
btw i've learned to give my son lots of water before a blood test. it allows the blood to be drawn easier. he needs fasting tests and water does not break the fast.
Hi...I am new to this board...I just posted about my son and possible PDD-NOS.....I know exactly how you feel...I have been there lots of times...more then I would like to remember....the one that sticks out in my mind the most was when I took gabe to gymboree for the first time to try out their play gym...in the two seconds that we were there gabe managed to jump on some girls face...and then he just ran around the gym...not really playing with anyone or anything...but was bumping into people and doing some of his jargon talk....and there was a mom there with her little very verbal angle just following my son around...it was hard to swallow...but we stayed the whole time...of course transition isn't something that gabe is good at...so when it was time to go there was major meltdown...and again...darting eyes, smirks and glares from all the other parents...we never went back again....I wish I would have told that mom off...
I did tell someone off one time...she called my son an idiot
Man I wish I was a fly on that wall to see her face!!!
